After a few days in Budapest

I'm still as tired as I was when I left Sweden, but my feet hurt more...

So far it's been a great time altough the weather isn't all that good. The transportation system works very well and last night at a restaurant I had half a kilo of steak, Medium-rare... That was so good. Everybody but the vegitarians was happy with the restaurant :)

Tonight is the second party and we are supposed to be the Swedish Chef team. I hope it goes well.

Sleeping arrangements is also great, we live at the Home Made Hostel and it's been great so far. Right now it's two guys in a double bed and a girl in an extra bed in one room and three girls and I in the other room. No complaints about my snoring yet!

Lindy Shock!

Stayed up way to late yesterday packing my stuff for Budapest...

I got about 5 hours of sleep and now I'm waiting for the bus to take me to the bus to take me to the plane to take me to the bus...
I repaired my UFO pants yesterday too, so now I'll be able to use them for the first time since after Herräng. So now my passport and Hungarian money are in my pocket, the "ticket" is in the bag and that's about it. I badly need a new suitcase for my any trip I'm taking after this...

So, see you in a week!

New apartment!

Today I signed the contract for my new apartment! Yay!

Finally a first-hand contract. I'm moving in 1/1-2009 but hopefully I can get access a couple of days before that (or even before I go home to Edsbyn 19/12)...

I'm moving to Jakriborg which is a fairly new built area, the house I'm moving into was built in 2004. I'll have 50sqm instead of my 40sqm now. The location is about 4 minutes with the train from Lund and 11 minutes from Malmö, this will probably lead to a slightly higher cost in travel costs but it's got to be worth it not having to worry about where to live next.

Now I'm off to meet Mathias, it was a long time since we met although I fairly frequently visit Malmö.

After this weekend it's one day of work and them Budapest!

Duke's place!

The past weekend it was Duke's place in Gothenburg.

Micke convinced me (easily) that it was a good idea to pay the girls in Gothenburg a visit.
So Saturday morning we took the bus north... On arrival we went our own ways, I had a fika with a girl I met in Herräng and Micke needed something to eat. The fika was very nice although it rained.
4ish I took the tram to Möndal where Matilda lives, this was going to be my sofa for the evening and the location for the nights' pre-party. People arrived and soon we enjoyed a tasty chicken pie and even a bit of spinach pie.
My apple juice tasted good with lime and I avoided Micke's fate of too much wine...

The dance itself was very good this time, the DJ playing between the songs where great and the band played a variety of songs. I keep telling myself I'll dance with more "unknowns" next time...

Sunday was a slow started but after some breakfast we took a half an hours walk down to a castle and had some fika. I belive Matilda had a small lemon meringue pie and I had a sandwich with dried wild boar meat with blue cheese and apple chutney . Oh I had some lemonade made from european elder flowers too, very nice. We then walked back to pick up my stuff and off with the train I went, 30 minutes later I was on my way to Lund again.

On the buss I managed to sleep some, and that was needed since 30 minutes after I landed the Dips & Cool Stops class started. It was the last class but well worth the efort.

Blues in Gothenburg

Last weekend I went to Gothenburg for the Black Cats Blues Lounge that Håkan arranged.
Håkan picked me up about half past four and we expected to arrive about half past seven.
The way to Gothenburg was pretty straight forward (no pun intended) but when we arrived in Gothenburg it was a whole other story... Why do people with GPS think they don't need to plan their trip ahead of time... I'm going crazy... After picking up keys to an apartment and loosing another hour on the streets of Gothenburg we finaly arrived outside of Forum.

I quickly got in touch with Finurlia and we proceeded to the Cinema, it was WALL-E time!
The pre-movie was fabulous! I haven't had such a good laugh in a while.
The dinner I had promised, figuratively turned into soup.

Saturday morning started with a miniscule missunderstanding and then Finurlia went to work. I went to Tilda and had a nice breakfast. I bought some new shoelaces and a bottle of Liquor 43 for tonights party. Minced meat and mushrooms with spagetti became lunch and then I went back to Finurlias' place for a nap before the festivities.

A bunch of us went to Tony for some italian food... Here the dinner I promised turned into something that I would call dinner and the food was great. Then we headed for the party.

The party itself was great. There could have been like 5-10 more people but that's about it. I think the mood set itself and people had a good time. The dancing was generally great but I didn't have one of those mind blowing experiences, I guess the bar was set to high this time.

We got home 5ish and straight to bed. The great planners for this trip had mentioned going home at five in the afternoon to me so I thought I had a loong sleep ahead of me. I was so wrong.
At 11 they called and basically said they where ready... so I had some nice scones that Finurlia made (isn't she great!) and then it was off back home.

The rest of the Sunday was spent playing computer games with my old friend Racoon.
