Fun and exciting evening

Today we had decided to go to the movies and see Up! (in 3D).

So after work I went home to Tina and we had macaroni and meatballs.

Tina also took me up on my offer of her moving in with me. So the moving van will probably go on the 28-29th of November. It's an exciting and tingly feeling mixed with a tad of nervousness...

Anyway... we went to Malmö and got our tickets, and while we where waiting there for the movie to start, a group of younger girls were sitting besides us. They had phone contact with another girl trying to meet up with them. The conversation went something like this;
-"So are you at Filmstaden?
-"She's so at Royal"
-"No go out and look does it say filmstaden"
-"She say she's inside right at the entrance, you go look"
This continued for a while and soon all the girls went away looking for their friend.
Tina and I bought our popcorn and waited in line to get in when we heard the girls again.
-"NOOOOO!!!"
-"She is at Filmstaden"
-"IN LUND!"
How could they have missed to communicate which city to see the movie in we've never know. But it was sure fun hearing it... Oh the movie was great! Super awesome! I'll definitely see more movies in 3D although I'm afraid it will be overused.

Oh and on the way home a guy got himself locked in inside the toilet on the train for a few minutes... ah, fun times.

Now I have to wake Tina so I can get her to go to bed.

Boy's weekend!

This week I'm all alone, Tina just landed in Liverpool where she'll stay until Friday.
This Friday we went to see Surrogates in the Cinema, it was an above average movie, but it left lots unsaid and seemed half-done in certain aspects of it. I'd recommend it as a rental or similar though. Before the movie we went to Viggos for a burger... Mmmm!

Yesterday I made moms' fish stew and tonight I'm making roast beef. I think it's just done so I need to go prepare the sauce now...

Oh and on to the subject. This week when Tina is in Stockholm, Dick is coming for a visit, so I guess it's going to be lost of Playstation 3 and little sleep :)

Android workout!

This week I'm taking part in an Android class, it's an intensive class that goes through application development for the Google Android platform for five days. Today was day two.

It's going really fast, but I've learnt a lot. Now I just need a small project to work on at home in my spare time... which leads me on to the workout part of the title...

Today I planned to measure the energy usage of my PS3 by buying a voltage reader and playing some games, my girlfriend planned otherwise.

She told me I hadn't time to buy the voltage reader and had dinner ready ("Skördepanna" Yummie!) when I got home. Then it was off to the "Rock Bottom" class at the local gym (we've used a coupon I had that gives us a free week). Rock bottom is bum, thighs and core (back and stomach). The workout was kind of repetitive but I think it will give much back if we continue with it. I'm not going to be able to move tomorrow, thats for sure.

I'm still bicycling almost every day although I'm going to Malmö this week!

A hard days work!

I got home early from a soft day at work and after having a Japp on the train home I felt that I had some spare energy to do something with. So I decided that today was the day I'd clean out my store room. I've been meaning to do this since I moved in (8 months ago) and haven't come around to it. Mostly because the shelf that I want to build up and put in there is in the back of the store room with all the boxes and stuff in front. I'm not so sure where I put the screws either...

Anyway I started moving boxes around and making a trash pile of stuff that I definitely don't want anymore. I worked my way back and reached the shelf. It's an Ivar, now where did I put the screws... after looking all over the apartment for the can with all the screws and small stuff I gave up and called Mother. Her suggestions was all of the places that I had already looked, but also the closet where I just briefly checked before. And there it was!

So I got the Ivar together and now it doesn't look all bad down there.

I also found one of my old plant pots, so I decided that while I was actually working I could do some more work. So I bought some new soil for my plants and changed one of them up a size pot and the other just got new soil. Hopefully it'll work out and they will grow even more.

After that all my energy ran out. All the food was in the freezer and I didn't want to wait for it, so I ordered a pizza... I had to wait 30 minutes for it... I have a theory about the pizzeria where I live, it seems like the pizzas are a lot smaller when the father makes them as opposed to when the son makes them... The dow is just as good tough.

Anyway, that was all work for Friday... tomorrow it's time to clean the apartment and go to the gym!

Riding the bike!

Today is the second day that I've taken the bicycle to work.

It takes about 30-40 minutes in each direction and I can feel it in my thighs. We have a shower at work so I can push myself going there too.
Today I also stopped by at the gym for a quick (just over half an hour) workout on my back and arms.

Hopefully I can keep this up all of September as well.

Working 9-5...

My third week back in Lund now, the first weekend I was in Göteborg at GBGLX'09, it was a blast!

I stayed with Bette this time who had a German named Veit and Matilda also staying over.
I wasn't all that agreeable to dance on Friday, I guess I was tired from work and the trainride. The band wasn't all that I thought... On Saturday things became better, Mobile Mammas Big Band was soo good... and the Gentlemen and Gangsters + guests on the afterparty was even better. Go Ulf!

This last weekend I went on a shopping spree. I bought four boxes of "trall" for my outdoor area and a new set of 2.1 (Logitech - X230) speakers for the PS3, now I can play music from my PS3 without having the TV on all the time, and the sound is MUCH better than on my TV. It also works good with the iPod or my cellphone... much simpler to connect than my 5.1 sound to the computer.

I've also bought a bicycle this Sunday, it has 7 gears a basket and skirtprotection :)
I also bought an extra lock, a bicycle helmet and a poncho for rainy days on the bike.
I intend to use it for traveling to and from work as well as dances on Mondays. Speaking about dancing... I need to go if I want to arrive on time!
