Vacation!

Finally vacation. All the luggage is packed and in an hour I'll meet Tina in Lund, we're having Sushi before boarding the train towards Stockholm.
A night is spent in Stockholm before we're going to Herräng tomorrow morning. There we will meet up with a third of my family and all the other Lindy hoppers. Two nights in Herräng and then back on the road north, a weeks stop in Edsbyn before we're going further north to Boden. A wedding and some hiking and then a long train ride home.
I'll be back for work on the 27th this month.

New(ish) hair cut.

Today I got a new(ish) hair cut. It's (ish) because it's what I usually look like but it's not neccessary a new one... in short it's short.

Yesterday we played brännboll at work, then I de-frosted the fridge at Tina's and then I went dancing... Tried calling finurlia but she was in the middle of something so expecting a call from her today.

Got an e-mail from Tina, first one in a while... the days can't go any slower.

I'm planning midsummers eve as I write this.. what to eat... what to wear...

Slow week...

This week started out really slow... It never got to Wednesday... and when it finally did I woke up because I couldn't breathe (allergies)... Anyway Wednesday came and I was taking part in fooling m0rt that he was going to stay the night (he had a hotel booked that he didn't know about).

Yesterday m0rt came to visit instead, a bit earlier then planned since they had forgotten about his allergies at the dinner.
Before that I had been to Malmö and bought Lundhags Park (image). They are for the vacation Tina and I are planning. She is taking me out on a hike in Boden this summer, so I need a good pair of boots.

I've used them today for half of the day, indoors and they feel good so far. On Sunday I'm taking them for a test walk to Lund, if the weather permits...

It's been raining and raining all the time here in Lund.... I'm sick of it.
I need some sunshine... or Tina, whichever comes first.

Buisiness as usual

OK, it was a horribly long time ago that I updated this blog. It seems as though it's going to be a re-run of the second to last entry.... the waiting game.

I've had a wonderful month with Tina being home but now she's gone to Colombia for 3 weeks. So I'm trying to keep myself busy. Yesterday I was on the company summer party which was quite nice. I'm not in a party mode since it was my first day without a cold.

In 20 minutes I'll meet Jan for some computer games, Terminator:Salvation and some food. Next week m0rt comes to visit a few days.

I had some downtime at work today and checked facebook... Frankie Manning passed away earlier today.

He went into the hospital a week and a half ago and developed pneumonia, he left us early this morning.

Playing the waiting game...

A couple of weeks ago my relationship with Tina became official. Now I'm playing the waiting game... I'm waiting for her to come back from her "vacation", I'm waiting for Finurlia and Rebecca to come visit me, I'm waiting for my laundry to be done, I'm waiting for the train to arrive so I can go to the gym... I'm waiting...

I realised that I had not updated my blogg in quite a while too... I guess I don't have the time... or the same need to write down for myself what happens... it's mostly work and dance anyhow...

Last Saturday I found out that a piece of my floor has been damaged by damp. I've contacted the landlord but nothing happens...

Ticket's have been bought to Stockholm this summer, I'm going to Herräng for 5 days. Hopefully Tina will come too, she has tickets but you never know with work and all...

Busy week

It's been a busy week...

Nothing to do at work most of the time, dancing and gaming in the evenings, training with the choir, missing trains and buses, staying up late, waking up early, I've never been this tired at work for a whole week before without being ill... but I'm not.

In the words of Rogers & Hart "This can't be love, because I feel so well, But still I love to look in your eyes."

Now I'm just waiting for the right time to take the bus to the train station so I can go to Gothenburg to meet Matilda and Finurlia. This time it's with Öresundståg and not SJ, we will see if that is for better or for worse.
